Microsoft Releases Skype for Windows Phone 7.5

For those that have been waiting for Skype on Windows Phone 7 devices, your wait is finally over.

Microsoft has released a Beta version of the Skype application for the Windows Phone 7 platform. You can download it from here, but beware that the product may still come with some bugs and a disclaimer is clearly shown on the Windows Phone website:

“NOTE: This is a pre-release (beta) product and you may come across occasional bugs and issues. Please tell us what you think, we would love to have your feedback”.

The Beta has been a long awaited addition to the Windows Phone Application store and certainly something we would have wanted to be available sooner considering that Microsoft acquired Skype in 2011.
